About Me

Kathryn grew up in Antioch, Illinois before moving to Wisconsin. Her grandfather, a teacher and director, introduced her to the arts at a very young age. Throughout her childhood, Kathryn was involved in community and school theatre, as well as choir.

She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Spring 2014. Since graduating, Kathryn has worked with the Skylight Music Theatre, In Tandem, All In Productions, First Stage Theater Academy, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Irish Arts, and Soulstice Theatre.

Kathryn has performed for Skylight in the Cabot Theatre (The Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Pirates of Penzance, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Zombies from The Beyond) and toured with their Standard Songbook. This interactive piece introduces elementary school students in the Milwaukee area to musical concepts through songs and stories.

Along with performing, Kathryn is passionate about arts education. From 2015-2018, Kathryn was been based at First Stage’s Community Learning Center at Kluge Elementary. Students K-5th grade received academic enrichment while also gaining life skills through stage skills. She has worked with students on Character Development, Dramatic Anatomy, Voice and Movement, and directed their summer 2016 production of The Lion King Kids. Kathryn is currently working for English Musicals Korea, an ESL children’s theatre company.
